LEts go on an adventure
We work 9-5 Monday to Friday and that pays the bills, but it's the 5-9 that really matters.
Getting out and feeling the wind blow through what's left of my receding hairline is what makes me happy.
I am a safe, competent and experienced mountaineer, qualified to lead groups in the UK Mountains in Summer conditions. I am insured for up to 12 people and carry sufficient emergency equipment to suit the numbers I am with.
I quite simply love being outside, so whether you want to get out in the dales and moors of the Peak District or explore some of the higher mountains that the UK has to offer, please get in touch.

I am very honest and I'm happy to give advice, I don't charge for my information and regularly give advice on facebook forums without a requirement or expectation of a booking.

So if you want to get out and have a safe and fun day in the outdoors, drop me a message and we can discuss.
Working as a Mountain Leader is a hobby as much as a job and I just want to enjoy what I am doing. I am happy to create a day around your requirements and offer you a price with no obligation, so if you can't find what you are looking for contact me.

Adventures and Guiding - If you don't want the hassle of navigating and route planning, if you don't have the qualification to lead a group or if you don't have the confidence or experience to go it alone get it touch and let's see if I can help you.

What I offer...
Guided Walks and Scrambles
(your choice of destination)
Typically £150 per day, but prices can be lower depending on the nature of the work, so please get in touch to confirm.

Location: Peak District, Lake District, Snowdonia

What is a guided walk?
I am not the type of guide who will walk you to the summit and back. I try to find interesting ways which take in some history, folklore and views. We will look at the 'working mountain' and talk about those who the mountain is their workplace and home.

Routes, planned activities and other requests can be discussed prior to booking to ensure that the day is appropriate for yourself.

2 day Mountain trip with a wild-camp
Multi-day expeditions

Fancy a longer walk, a night under the stars, sleeping in a remote mountainous location, a mountain sun-rise or the experience of being self-sufficient in the mountains for more than a few hours.

I can offer that.

I have some spare equipment if you need to borrow items (inc. tent etc) but a kit list will be sent out prior to the trip which should give you time to procure your own equipment.
