About me...

Hi I'm Rob,

I am a full-time instructor teaching industrial work at height such as industrial climbing, rope access, rope rescue and first aid.

I am a part-time self-employed Mountain Leader working in the Peak District, Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Parks. The part-time work provides me with money to fund my own adventures and I am a keen outdoorsman involved in;: hill walking, rock & ice climbing, fell running, skiing and paddle sports

I grew up in the fells of The Lake District and spent my adolescent years on the moors of the Peak District National Park. I am a keen hill walker, scrambler and rock climber. My instructor style is friendly and relaxed. Operating as a confident and experienced mountain leader, I am open to most ideas.

I am an active serving member of my local Mountain Rescue team in the Peak District National Park and have been involved in the activity of search and rescue since 2009.

I am a member of the British Mountaineering Council's (BMC) 'Technical Advisory Committee' as well as being a member of the BMC as well as being a full member of the professional organisation 'Mountain Training'

I am currently open to work as a mountain leader in the Peak District, Lake District, Snowdonia and further afield, get in touch and I'm happy to discuss.

If you are not sure if I can help you, please reach out and I am happy to give you some advice.

Rob
